Living Arts will present Teatro Chico - Dia de los Muertos: Nuestras Historias, Our Histories on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m at the Ford Resource and Engagement Center located at 2826 Bagley Detroit, MI 48216. Join us on the 29th for an exhibition of ofrendas created by artists Erin and Monte Martinez, Kia Itchel Arriaga, and members of the community! Enjoy music and dance performances and presentations while taking part in a community meal in celebration of the lives of those we have lost. All ages are welcome!

Throughout the month of October join the artists in a series of art-making workshops. Learn about the history and traditions of Dia de los Muertos and create works of art that will be placed on the exhibited ofrendas! These workshops will be hosted at the Ford Resource and Engagement Center and will be free. For more information on the workshops, ofrendas, and celebration, please call Erika Villarreal Bunce, Living Arts Director of Programs, or Zoe Villegas, Office Manager at (313) 841-4765.
