2017 Spark the Imagination

Celebrating our collective power to support youth arts!

This annual fundraising event on the evening of May 17th will bring together more than 200 Living Arts supporters to learn about our work and recent achievements and invest in our plans for the future.

Mahogany Jones (internationally recognized hip hop artist and 2016 Kresge Arts Fellow) will be the emcee for the evening. The line up will include performances from Living Arts' youth DanceCollage ensemble and professonal Teaching Artists including:

  • Jeron Howie - accomplished hip hop dancer and choreographer
  • Karilú Alarcón Forshee - vocalist and actress
  • Audra Kubat - award-winning folk musician

In addition to inspiring performances, guest will enjoy strolling hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, and the ambiance of Detroit's historic Masonic Temple chapel.

Admission to the event is complimentary. Guests are asked to make a personally meaningful gift to Living Arts at the conclusion of the performance.
