Please join us for Living Arts' 25th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraising Event: From Friday, April 25 at 6:30 pm to Saturday, April 26 at 8 pm, this non-stop 25-hour in-person AND live-streamed event will include dancing, entertainment, movement classes, food, drinks, and more! 

Whether you’re in it for the full 25-hour challenge or just want to drop in for a few hours, every step you take helps ignite creativity in the youth of Detroit.

And if you can’t make it in person—don’t worry! We’re live-streaming the entire event, so you can dance, donate, and raise money from anywhere in the world—even from the comfort of your own home!

WHAT TO EXPECT & MORE

  • This isn’t your typical dance-a-thon. We’re bringing 25 hours of diverse movement experiences, from high-energy dance sessions to calming movement classes.

  • We’re starting strong with a Latin-themed evening featuring Hispanic music, delicious food, and dance classes in Bachata, Salsa and more!

  • Shake off the night with Pilates, Zumba, and other energizing classes to keep you going!

  • We’re closing out the event with a special showcase from Detroit’s own House of Jit, where you’ll get to see their moves and learn how to Jit yourself!

  • We’ll be live-streaming the entire event, so even if you’re miles away, you can still join in, dance from home, and raise money virtually!

  • While waiting for your scheduled classes, enjoy free dance zones, music, surprise performances, and of course food throughout this 25 hour event!

  • Fundraising Champion: The participant who raises the most money wins exclusive Living Arts swag and bragging rights!’

    Silent Auction Prize: Bid in our silent auction during the event for a chance to win an all-inclusive trip for two—anywhere in the world!

OTHER WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

  • $30 a ticket!

    While the livestream will be free on Twitch and Youtube, purchasing a Live-Stream ticket will get you direct linked access via email to the stream when the time comes AND gives you the exclusive (optional!) opportunity to hop on remotely and dance LIVE onstream!

  • Those who participate in the peer-to-peer fundraising aspect of this event are entered to win bespoke handmade swag by the Living Arts CEO, Laura Scales! Both the individual fundraising campaign that raises the most for Living Arts AND one other randomly selected peer-to-peer fundraiser will win this prize!

  • During the month of April, we’ll be releasing our Digital Silent Auction portion of this event that will feature a number of prize packages including a trip for two to a country of your choosing (some exclusions) with four star accommodations generously provided by AmFund.
