Ralph bunche academy

In partnership with Wayne Metro 21st Century program, teaching artist Morgan Hutson led a drama and movement residency with K-3rd graders, integrating language and literacy.

sabbath middle school

In partnership with Wayne Metro 21st Century program, teaching artist Brendan Asante led a music technology residency with 6th-8th graders, integrating math into music theory.

schulze academy

Teaching Artists Sterling Toles, Katy Schoetzow and Brendan Asante led residencies in music composition, music technology and drama with 3rd graders, 5th graders, DHH and EI classes, integrating with the Social Studies and English Language Arts curriculum.

 

cesar chavez academy

Teaching artists Sicily McRaven and Stephanie Howells led visual arts residencies with 4th graders, integrating the Science curriculum into arts experiments and projects.  This project was supported by a grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

pasteur elementary

In partnership with the Pasteur Elementary Alumni Foundation, teaching artist Aja Dier led a drama residency with 5th graders, integrating the English Language Arts curriculum into devised theater.

thorne elementary

In partnership with Wayne Metro 21st Century program, teaching artist Joshua Mulligan led an animation residency with 3rd-6th graders, integrating math concepts into set construction.
